With the Speed Curves feature inside the Wiral LITE app, you can make a single run of your cable camera kit more dynamic, by setting variable speeds of movement.
You can choose to go slow, then super fast, and back again – or any other speed variation you’d like.
Description of Speed Curves Mode elements:
- Speed tiers, from low to high speed
- Left end stop
- Wiral LITE unit represented on the line inside the app
- After a run is completed, just move the icon on the screen back to the starting position, and the Wiral LITE will move back to the start of the line as well.
- Speed Control Point
- Delay before the start of Speed Curves movement
- Mirror the line
- Right end stop
Speed Control Points
The Control Points can be set by tapping anywhere on the line. You can set up to 6 differentiating Control Points in a single run, and move them up and down vertically to set the speed.
When you press start, Wiral Lite will accelerate to reach the speed set on the first Control Point. Once reached – the unit will accelerate or deaccelerate to reach the speed of the next control point in line.
To remove a Control Point, just tap on it again and press the Remove Control Point button.
Fast and Slow Setting in Speed Curves Mode
You may set up Wiral LITE to move on two different speed settings inside the Wiral LITE App while in Speed Curves Mode – the Fast and Slow setting.
Slow setting speeds: 0.2 m/s to 1.3 m/s
Fast setting speeds: 0.5m/s to 5.3 m/s
To change the unit of measurement or the speed setting, just press the settings icon (gear) in the upper right corner to access the menu where you may switch between the Imperial or Metric system of measurement and between Fast and Slow speed setting.
